Tim Laycock and Colin Thompson are both renowned performers of Dorset tradi&onal music. Drawing on their extensive repertoire, they present an informal evening of folksongs collected in Dorset by Henry and Robert Hammond, dance tunes from the Hardy collec&on and Benjamin Rose of Belchalwell. Interspersed with readings and local poetry, the evening is a celebra&on of country life and the natural history of the county.
The concert is to raise money towards the building and equipping of the North Dorset Honeybee Centre at Holloway Farm, Shillingstone.
